In the essay “why don’t we complain?” the author “Buckley Jr.” shows what he feels. I noticed that he uses imaginary all throughout his writings. He uses metaphors as a technique to transmit the reader his point of view. Nevertheless, in my opinion the author provides no specific evidence or proof that the government is to blame for his criticisms of society. In fact, he declare several examples of that he has had to endure including being forced to sit on an 85 degree train for more than an hour, watching an out of focus movie, having to wait in line for too long, waiting too long to be served a glass of milk and not being the first to get their tray removed on an airline flight. These complaints are not vital enough to base his argument on. In other words all his statements and arguments about complain are totally irrelevant to the case.
In contrast, people may complain about the care they have received. Making a complaint can often be a prolonged and draining experience. There are many reasons that would support the arguments to make complains as to get help with a problem, to get an explanation, to get financial compensation, or to have someone disciplined; those are reason very reasonable and relevant by which one could make a complain. Sometimes the easiest way to fix things out will be to talk to the staff involved. They should be happy to talk to you and try to put things right, but if this does not work, I think one can still go onto make a complaint.
